Hello! We've had a lot of inquiries about roast dates -- the confusion comes from the fact that the dates are printed in the European style of day/month/year.
So if your bag of coffee says 2/5/22, then it was roasted on May 5th 2022.
Also, occasionally Saka will miss a bag or two and not print a roast date. Please be assured that we are selling the freshest coffee possible -- we order in small batches and coffees are always roasted to order. Typically when we receive coffee it's been 10-14 days from roast, and we get new batches every 3-4 weeks.
